Hong Kong Day 1: Hong Kong Airport, Urban Bakery

Good Morning, everyone.
I'm blogging from Hong Kong now. Hehe.
Last night, YS and I checked in at the airport T2 and saw Mickey and Minnie in their yukata. The lanterns are very cute with Mickey head.

Our first time taking Scoot airline. That time, he asked me,"What airline is scoot?"
I replied normally,"oh! Scoot airline lor."
Then he started to laugh! I didn't even know what happen. He laughed at himself,"what a stupid question to ask! What airline is scoot! Hahahahaha! I wanna ask what terminal!" (*≧∀≦*)

Reached Hong Kong airport. There is free wifi here. *thumbs up

We took the train to Hong Kong station for breakfast. We reached here so early that most of the shops are closed. We wanted to have dim sum for breakfast at Maxim Palace, City Hall but it only opens at 9am
Now, we are at URBAN Bakery Works at The Landmark which opens at 7:30am and tapping to wifi. Hehe. Thanks to the recommendation from Ladyironchef and I get to try this hybrid Po Lou bun and croissant! Super nice! Really must try. The croissant is crispy at the outside and soft in the inside. Plus the smell of the butter! Shiok!! YS chose this ham n cheese croissant and big breakfast with English breakfast tea. Total bill is HKD114 (around S$20).

Their interior design. There is a short clip on their wall production. The left corner of this picture will show the making of their wall. All the drilling and crafting from the scratch. Art is always so impressive.

Did you see the face?
We seated in for quite a while. YS is taking a nap now. I can see how tired he is, the way he sleep on the couch. *hugs* Let's me take a selfie.

Tian Kee & Co

24.01.15
A saturdate with YS.
Finally I brought him to Tian Kee & Co.
Intention: To try rainbow cheesecake. Just dessert only.
He went to make an order and came back to the seat smiling.
YS: hehe.
Me: yes? What have you order?
YS: Cheesecakes. Don't shock.
Me: hmm...how many you order?
YS: hehe.
The waiter came over with 2 cheesecakes and walked off.
Me: yum yum
The waiter came over again.
Me: Σ(・□・;)
YS: hehehe. At first, I wanted to order the rainbow cheesecake only but then I saw the cheesecakessss. So, I asked for one of each kind.
Me: (O_O)
We did enjoy the cakes. Impressively, all of them are really unique in some way. Personally, we love the Rainbow cheesecake (of course, that's one of their signature), followed by Gula Melaka cheesecake and Caramel Toffee cheesecake.

Bought some childhood tidbits while on the way home. Hehe.

Yo! 2015

Happy New Year, everybadeeee!
I wish for a better year and everyone to be safe and sound. Too many things had happened last year. Let's stay close together and be strong to overcome what is coming ahead. My heart feels so sour and sorry for the families every time the news updates on the missing flight - Airasia #QZ8501 popped out in any of the social media's news feeds. Let's pray for them and hope this will come to a closure soon.
New year, new resolutions!
I had a midnight chat with ys till almost dawn. We talked a lot of stuffs here. This year is a challenging year for 3 of us. 3 months later, it will be a totally new milestone to me. Shall I call it milestone or changes? 1 year! I'm going to put down everything here and go to New Zealand. Everything needs to start fresh again. Find a job, meet new friends/colleagues, learn to adapt to the new environment and their culture, and I'm so gonna miss Singapore so much especially my bff, little turtle. She had always been there for me, we had walked through so many ups and downs. I'm glad that now she had found a better workplace and met wonderful friends there. Girl, I will miss you a lot. Please be safe and healthy. School is gonna starts soon and you will be busy. I wish you good luck and all the best for your study. Always support you in everything you do. Must work hard and smart towards your goals for better future ya? I love you and thank you to be my roomie/bff/wifey/everything. I felt that I'm so lucky and spoilt by all of you. I have nothing more to request. As long as my love ones are safe, healthy and happy, I'll be the happiest girl in the world. *opps* I think gonna rain again.
Woke up around 1pm today. Haha! YS and I had our late lunch at the Hougang Bus Interchange. I craved for the Mee Kia Da, still the nicest and cheapest. Nom nom nom.
Mee Kia Da
After that, we went to Fairprice to buy food for dinner. Mr.YS bought a lot of meats! He spotted new flavor of Thai Lays and bought one home yesterday. HAPPY!!! Then today I saw another one.
Lay (Maxx)
Sorry! I'm really a potato chips lover. Every time I go to the same place or any country, my luggage will always full of foods. There was one time, I just came back from Brunei and took MRT back home. At Paya Lebar circle line, I was stopped by the security guard and she asked me to open my luggage. My first thought was I just done security check at the airport, how come she stopped me here. The next thought,"Shit! My biscuits and chips!" Then when I opened my luggage and showed her, she went WOOOOOOW~~~ (ノ_<). Another time was YS picked me from airport. When he reached home, he went to open my luggage. Of course, I, from one corner "Chiong" to him to stop him from opening my luggage. But in the end, he still did it. One luggage full of cottage fries potato chips tomato flavor. Haha. From Thailand, I will get BBQ lays. Very nice!!! Little turtle and YS went to Bangkok also will help me get almost one luggage full of those back. Opps. Thank you so much. I know you all love me so much. Hehe. I also bought these ondeh ondeh and other kuehs from Begawan Solo. Love the way it bursted inside the mouth, super Shiok. Both of us were preparing the food for steamboat/BBQ dinner later.
Ondeh Ondeh (Begawan Solo)
And tadah~~~ the final outcome!

I also got this Pepero in Hami melon flavor.
